Need one room to function as a holding room for speakers.
Easier to grab all of them and put them in one place rather than running around looking for them.

Awesome...I am thinking of getting so 3-in-1 coffee/teas for them. Also if can get a place with wired cable. I have an 8-port Switch that may come in handy.
The attendees and some remaining students would probably kill the WiFi anyways.

Wi-Fi should work this time. We had a team from Holland who worked on it.
My only concern is the bandwidth - but I believe we have sufficient :)

Can you do the following checks as well: a) Are the 3G/4G signals strong in the building? b) Can we arrange for 3G/4G pre-paid data-only SIMs to be made available for sale to those who want it? Perhaps contacting a telco might be helpful. I know I'd want a data-only SIM.

Hi Harish,
1. yes, 3G and 4G is available in this building. I am sending this email from my laptop connected to a 3G network (UMobile) from the middle of the building. Please refer to screenshot
[cid:image001.png@01CD0B6A.7EA00E70]
2. We have a lil maxis (ISP) store here at the main building. They do sell Maxis 3G SIMs and modems. However, I am unsure on the number they have "on-site" within a single day. We can make arrangements to request that they 'reserve' some for purchase during the event.
Thanks
Kind regards
Gurdip

Check for Digital and UMobile. Can look for agent in Lowyat forums. People are always looking for agents and sales opportunities.
Another is to ring up the telco directly and ask them to send a team.

3-1 Drinks you say. The entire Old Town PJ is a wholesaler's dream place. Can help out with the buying if needed. Also appropriate to include tea and milo at least in the offerings.

Hi All,
all these prices you guys checked, it'll be great if you can put in the /Budget wiki page .. or maybe a separate wiki page for FnB team to make it easier.
that'll keep all of us informed , and to raise flag if it goes overbudget .. we also need to report this back to FPL ..
Thanks a lot for the great work !

I do not feed Nescafe to people I like....
Maybe local blends like Super would be cheaper...

If Nescafe not classy enough, ground up local coffee in paper bags might do the trick. Just have to get pots + warmers with them. Super is utterly horrible, even Indocafe is better. Was going for Nescafe because of the universality of it.
