Sounds like a neat idea. Do you have an outline of what the article
might cover?
Summary: How to improve Gnome notification system experience
Description: after having briefly praised the Gnome desktop main
features, the purpose of this article would be to describe some ideas
that allows the user to enanche the the usefulness of the Gnome
notifications, by means of some extensions and other tools. The flow
of the article would be as follows:
- briefly describe the reasons why I like Gnome
- talk about "Notifications Alert extension"
- how to integrate Thunderbird and Skype into Gnome notifications
area
- how to receive Android smartphone notifications into Gnome using a
small app and an utility available in the default Fedora repository
- generate Gnome notifications from bash scripts
Intended audit: any user. The article would be very descriptive,
giving some hints and ideas, without deeping into step by step
installation processes or bash codes.
Sending this back to the list so the group can see it. Looks like a
cool plan to me!
