Yes it is.
I guess I'm just use to seeing other sites where the image is large enough to
comfortably see it without having to click on it.

Typically we upload the full size, and in the article the embedded image
will be smaller. When the reader clicks it, they get a full sized image
that's easier to see. Is that the problem you're having, or am I
misunderstanding?
