[magazine] Introduction/request and pitch
by Charles Wood
Hello dear folks of the Fedora magazine,
My name is Charlie Wood, a technical writer at Red Hat and I went to a
conference in Minsk on a Fedora related mission.
I would like to request to be an author.
My pitch/article is to highlight why Fedora should and can target
non-traditional audiences such as front-end developers.
Here is a draft on the wordpress:
https://fedoramagazine.org/wp-admin/post.php?post=16657&action=edit
I think it could certainly do with a picture or two. If anyone has some
bright ideas.
Thanks in advance, this is my first time so I hope I am following the right
steps from the website and please tell me what my next steps should be :)
My plan on receiving access is to finalize the draft and put it for review.

[magazine] February stats
by Paul W. Frields
February 2017 was our best February ever, with a Y/Y increase of 49%
-- over 209,000 page views vs. last year's ~140,045.
The number was down from January 2017, which had over 237,000 page
views. Given a shorter month and the editorial outages we experienced
for DevConf.cz and other reasons, it's still a pretty good result.
Let's keep up the momentum!
