I noticed that LXQt uses Openbox instead of Kwin for the
compositor/window manager. However, Openbox has been dead for almost
six years and doesn't seem to have a path to Wayland. Meanwhile, it
seems Kwin works quite well with LXQt and supports both X11 and
Wayland. Moreover, it's actively maintained and seems to improve the
responsiveness of the LXQt desktop.
Have you folks considered moving from Openbox to Kwin with LXQt 0.16.0
in Fedora 34?
