Dear Insight Team members,
I have had a chat with Herlo and Stickster about the GSoC 2012 and Insight project. Both agreed with that the Insight project ideas would be good GSoC project ideas[1]. The chat history with stickster is attached followed.
What we need is some mentors to mentor the ideas. If you are interested in supporting please reply, thanks.

That's the one to try and get us away from a shared password, and into a system where we use a FAS group to manage access to the identi.ca account [22:59] <stickster> I don't have a good idea how to accomplish it, and still have some good security practice [23:00] <bckurera__> stickster : Then you think those ideas will be good GSoC projects, am I right? [23:01] <stickster> bckurera__: I'm not sure -- it depends on how generally applicable we could make them outside Fedora [23:02] <stickster> If I were thinking in terms of GSoC, I'd want to think about how solving these problems could help the larger FOSS community -- in other words, design a general solution that we could also use in Fedora [23:03] <bckurera__> stickster : I think GSoC is specific to a FOSS project/ organization. Even the last year selected topics are like that. [23:04] <stickster> bckurera__: OK, if that's the case, then I guess these would work [23:04] * stickster still likes the idea of generalizing the solutions so they can be used elsewhere [23:04] <bckurera__> With the students' help we can get the idea implemented.
