Once again, this is for newbie.
ifconfig eth0 AA.BBB.CCC.DDD netmask 255.255.2555.0
route add default gateway XX.YYY.ZZZ.???
echo "nameserver ???.???.????.????" >>
/etc/resolv.conf
should get the job done.
