This is what I have inferred from it. There are seveal on this list that know more about udev than I.
OK - I checked for rpmnew files and made appropriate decisions. I now have 4.1 running nicely :-) with my first folderview :-). The only thing left to do is sort out NetworkManager, ready for wifi access.
