We were able to get it to work with some additional updates.
Is there a way to make it automatically run in fall back mode?
Is there a way to remove the Verne theme? We keep trying to remove the Verne packages but they keep installing.
Thanks, WB

We are using livecd-creator to create a remix of Fedora 16. Started off with a test, only changing the time zone to Central time. The cd boots but there isn't any DNS resolution. The browser does work by using ip address.
When trying to ls -l /etc/res* it shows an I/O error for /etc/resolv.conf and there is a temp file there.
We are pulling all the latest updates from a mirror.
We are using the same process that worked for us from Fedora 8 thru Fedora 14.
Another question: su - doesn't work on this CD but it does on the downloadable Fedora 16 live CD.
Start by building it without updates. Because of interdependencies updates in some components can to break things. Add in specific updates as needed instead of the whole updates repo.
