Trying on my own to see if I could get anything to work, I got a
segfault when I tried using arp_ping rather than ethtool for the
link-watchers. As this occurs after the teamd fails to set the port
hardware address, this may not be directly related to my problem, but
I thought it worth mentioning. Below is the relevant syslog.
