Hello everyone, dear linux users,
i never really understand if my project can work :
i want to buy the material, to make a link aggregation style that be able
to make my torrent download faster. I know in torrent style download there
is a lot of hash and source sometimes. So why not use a source on a
internet "server" provider, and an other on an other "server"
internet
provider, etc.. for the same single torrent file.
Team is on L2. What you want is L3 and that is completely different
story.
The best will be that also a good part of the bandwidth will be allowed for
internet desktop surfing (on an other computer, not torrent server). If i
have internet1 10mo/s internet2 5mo/s, and torrent take 3mo/s+2mo/s
bandwidth, prefer to use the last 3mo/s of the internet2 for my surfing
than the last 2mo/s of internet1.
I'm pretty no0b in this crazy application, so i don't know at all what
minimum material is needed.
All that i can say is i have pretty nice neighbor who all share the wifi
with me. with a small router i can share bridge it and share the connection
with ethernet and with 2/3 router (haha!) plug all this ethernet cable to
an adaptable switch. After the switch, i'm blind for what material use. A
router compatible bonding can make the job ? a good network card on my
linux server ? ...
Thanks a lot for your work, it's serve the open community and make it
growing!
