Have you installed kernel-devel package? It should be enough to compile
modules.
Failing that, does anyone know of a WiFi card that works "out of

box" with Fedora Core 6?
Atheros chipset should work "out of the box", or at least it was so for
me. Try livna repository. They have prebuild modules.
