Odd problem developed between FC6 and FC7 (Along with my favorite little ACPI issue). Strange artifacts at the top of the screen:

If I don't set:
Option "NoAccel" "yes" Option "Swcursor" "yes"
I have no pointer and I get this garbage....EDID and DDC are no help here.
-logverbose 9, dmesg, and xorg.conf attached. This is the world's most-generic laptop ever, so I'm not sure how this one slipped through.

I had the same issue on D505. The solution was to downgrade BIOS (from 11 downto 9 IIRC).
