Dominic,
You first need to find out if the laptop is using secure boot. That will
change how you go about things. Fedora 18 will support secure boot
installations when it launches, but Fedora 17 currently does not (easily at
least).
If you don't have secure boot then it's just as simple as installing it on
any other distribution. Just make sure you don't overwrite your windows
partitions (NTFS and the new ReFS) and you should be good.

Hi all,
Please does anyone knows if Fedora can be installed on a Windows 8 laptop
(Dell Inspiron 15R SE)? If yes, how do I go about it?
Thanks.
Dominic.
