so, I think Edgar's 'real solution' from c#8 is the best fix here, and
jforbes
thinks it makes sense:

so, assigning this to kmod to see if it'll get some traction there. I'm willing
to bet a couple of beers that some RHEL 7 users will run across this trying to
use libvirt bridging with NetworkManager, if that provides any incentive to
bump up its importance...
