The documentation for the itertools built-in module contains a bunch of short, useful functions that don't seem to be packaged anywhere obvious. I think it would be nice to add them to the iterutils module.

These have actually been packaged twice: http://pypi.python.org/pypi/iterutils/ http://pypi.python.org/pypi/itertools_recipes/
I haven't used either package but I'd be glad to link to one of them in the kitchen documentation. If you use take a look at those packages, could you let me know which one is more appropriate?
