I am hitting

very frustrating. (When the card goes to sleep, it doesn't wake up. I have
to hit the suspend button and sleep the whole computer to get it to
respond.) Apparently there is a fix in amd-staging-drm-next. How long does
it take for something like that to get to me?
It's likely the fix made it into 4.20-rc1, so you could give that a
try[0]. If 4.20-rc1 works, then it's possible the fix will show up in
an upcoming 4.19 stable release. If it hasn't been marked as a stable
candidate and no one tracks down the commit, though, it'll filter down
as part of the rebase to 4.20 in a couple months.
