It's a known fact that groupremove is ridiculously broken, and that DVD
install if all you want is KDE is also broken. Kevin has presented some ideas
on how to fix the DVD and they sound good, but no one has really stepped up to
actually do it.

The GNOME Desktop package group simply contains too many packages.
There (seems) to be no good way of removing GNOME from an install in
order to install another DE, such as KDE. A groupremove even pulls out
the kmod-nvidia files. Against what do I file a bug report about this?
Once again I find myself with a DVD install which with the default
GNOME which I want to turn to a KDE install, and the excess bandwidth
and time is ridiculous.
