Subject says it all. Just curious.
I have been testing with qt5.
The copr is available at https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/jamatos/lyx-next/
Looking into the spec file you could see that there is a line
%global use_qt5 1
So for the moment the idea is to have qt5 as the default. I think this should apply to epel7 as well, but I do not use it.
So in the next couple of day I will port the 2.2.0 to updates-testing for 24 (and before that naturally to rawhide) with the purpose of doing the same to 23.
Regarding Fedora 22 and since it is reaching the end of live, I suppose that packaging 2.1.5 (that will be able to read 2.2 documents) is a conservative approach.

Thanks. I grabbed the f24 srpm, and rebuild on f23. So far seems fine.

What is wrong with https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/jamatos/lyx-next/fedora-23-x... ? :-)
I have rebuilt and used in real work the versions since alpha2 and I had not any problem.
Interestingly this version was supposed to be rc2, but since the list of problems was minor we went directly to 2.2.0.
The only selling point now regarding qt5 versus qt4 is the support for hi-res displays, that is available only through qt5.

Oh, missed that. dnf update didn't update it, I guess cause I had already installed locally build 2.2.0-rc1, and dnf didn't think this was an update.
I do have a hi-res display, so I'm interested in the qt5 build.

I have now submitted updates for Fedora 23 and 24:
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/lyx-2.2.0-1.fc23 https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/lyx-2.2.0-1.fc24
Since Fedora 22 will be EOL in a couple of months I will package 2.1.5 when it comes out.
