Yes, I meant "Move to Trash" which is what happens when I hit Delete key. No,
the trash is not on a mounted drive. There is no network involved and
everything is on a single drive
the whole notfication stuff is fragile
happily the complete freezes when moving files over sftp are mostly gone
with whatever random update, in fact the job was long ago done and the
notifications delayed anything - <sarcasm>maybe they can't believe
things are going that fast on machines with horse-power and fast
networks</sarcasm>
but the notifications have a long history back to KDE4 like
