perhaps there is something really basic I am missing about symlinks, the
desired result is like that:
if folder A contain files a,b,c
and folder B contain files d,e,f
folder C is empty but is configured to show the content of folder A and B
and therefore will show a,b,c,d,e,f
how do I do that with symlinks?
cd C
ln -s ../A/a
ln -s ../A/b
ln -s ../A/c
ln -s ../B/d
ln -s ../B/e
ln -s ../B/f
If you have many files you can bash-script it, and create a cron job to refresh
the links periodically.
HTH :-)
