Use NetworkManager-gnome, aka nm-applet
This package is installed and comes up in GNOME. But what do I do to
have it running by default on KDE?
As I said, If I login to GNOME first and then KDE, it is there in the
systray. But if I reboot, and log in to KDE, it is gone.
