I've tried ark, konqueror and even dolphin, none of which will open a zip file. In all cases I get an unsupported file type error. This worked recently and so I believe it is broken as a result of my last update, which was this weekend.
Both zip and unzip are installed and seem to work on the command line.
I am using Fedora 25.
Anyone else seeing this?

I'm not seeing that. I just opened a zip file with Dolphin and it launched Version 16.12.3 of Ark to display the contents of the zip.

Turns out is only the DMARC file from Google has this is a problem. At least so far.
I just verified however that files I could open before the last update cannot be opened now. So I assume something happened to the zip library used by both Konqueror and Ark.
Ark opens the other compressed files I have, including gz files.
I'll do a bug report as soon as I figure out where to report it.

Well, not exactly solved. I can now manage zip file in Dolphin, Konqueror and ark again, since the last full update.
