The default updater does not come from dnfdragora, it is plasma-pk-updates,
which is based on PackageKit.
If you want to use the dnfdragora updater, install the dnfdragora-gui
package. (I already requested that it be renamed dnfdragora-updater:
[egreshko@f26-rc15k ~]$ rpm -qa | grep dnfdra
installed on the system.
If I login without PackageKit installed I get a dnfdragora popup that tells me 117
Updates are available and after a short time it disappears. I have to manually start
the dnfdragora gui in order to start the update process.
If I then install PackageKit and login I get a dnfdragora popup that tells me 117
Updates are available *AND* a dnf icon appears in the systray and I can pick
from there to start the update process.
