just init'd the kde repos to support f15 now. Nothing there yet, but perhaps soon. :)

Well when you said soon I did not expected it to be so soon. :-)
FWIW the metadata refers to the kdepim-* packages but they can not be found anywhere... updating excluding those packages works. :-)
Thanks, :-)
BTW:
F14-kde-4.6.1 from today is working really fine and is fixing the "no-drag&drop-from-desktop"-problem
but a small new bug is introduced: closing tabs in "konsole" is working only via menu because the symbol in the tablist is inactive and my configured middle-click on the tab is also ignored
BTW 2: can anybody take a look at "kcalc"? since many releases the number "2" via keyboard is ignored on my machines (german layout)

Hm you have F15 devel IMHO the packages are built against a newer GLIBC and your mirror for the normal updates-repo seems not to be fresh enough

I am getting dependency errors this at the moment (F14 system).
Any hints?
Hm you have F15 devel
Yes, but why? My system is F14. Why does yum try to install .f15 packages?

It seems that the F14 repo has the wrong packages. :-)
So do not update and wait for this to be fixed. :-)
I'm a little baffled, I checked the physical contents of http://kdeforge.unl.edu/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/14/ vs. http://kdeforge.unl.edu/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/15/ and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
the repoview data seems consistent as well, http://kdeforge.unl.edu/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/14/i386/testing/repoview/ http://kdeforge.unl.edu/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/14/x86_64/testing/repoview/
And, it seemed to upgrade and work properly on my own f14/x86_64 box.
so, I'm at a loss here.

Hmm... I did a "yum clean all" (did that multiple times before today) and now "yum update" seems to work fine again.

The same for me in F14. When I wrote the previous message I had the same problem when updating F14 packages.
yum package resolution started with: ... Updating: PyKDE4 x86_64 4.6.1-1.fc15 kde-testing 3.6 M ...
so I am not daydreaming. :-)
Now it works again. :-)

Not exactly empty, I just put in an empty index.html to prevent bots/indexers/etc from hammering it.
I suppose I could try removing it temporarily.

This seems to be causing problems again. Yesterday after a couple of "yum clean all && yum update" it all worked and updates worked. This morning i ran update again and all the f15 packages are back. Just for fun i checked all the mirrors to see if any of the mirrors were different and stumbled upon a repoview showing f15 packages [1]. All the rest seem to be showing correctly. In addition in the one repo that shows f15 packages the actual packages seem to be the f14 ones. I suspect repodata issues in that one mirror. I also don't know how yum picks the mirror to pull from but that one mirror that's wrong does seem to be top of the list in the mirrorlist which might explain why so many people are stumbling on it.

Thanks!
I'll take a *very* close look @ mirror.unl.edu and try to see where things are going wrong.

This seems to be causing problems again. Yesterday after a couple of "yum clean all&& yum update" it all worked and updates worked.

Should be fixed now, I think rsync was betraying me here somehow, not properly updating content.

I'm seeing these on /testing for f14, at least as of today:
Error: Package: kdebase-workspace-4.6.1-7.fc14.1.x86_64 (kde-testing) Requires: libjpeg.so.62(LIBJPEG_6.2)(64bit)
Do the dependencies need to be set differently for f14?
rpm -q --provides libjpeg-turbo libjpeg = 6b-47 libjpeg.so.62()(64bit) libjpeg-turbo = 1.0.1-1.fc14.1 libjpeg-turbo(x86-64) = 1.0.1-1.fc14.1 libjpeg = 6b-47 libjpeg.so.62 libjpeg-turbo = 1.0.1-1.fc14.1 libjpeg-turbo(x86-32) = 1.0.1-1.fc14.1

OK, this update is needed to install kde-testing on F14:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libjpeg-turbo-1.1.0-2.fc14?_csrf_tok...
It shows as 'pushed to stable' on April 2nd, but I don't get it by way of a typical yum update. I installed the x86_64 build by hand and yum is now happily downloading.

The mirror you're using is outdated.
The package is on the sunsite.mff.cuni.cz mirror just fine, I got it with a yum update on April 3.

but a small new bug is introduced: closing tabs in "konsole" is working only via menu because the symbol in the tablist is inactive and my configured middle-click on the tab is also ignored
According to what I have read this is on purpose. In order to fix a crash some close methods from the konsole have been deactivated.
See the konsole part on http://www.kde.org/announcements/changelogs/changelog4_6_0to4_6_1.php

BTW 2: can anybody take a look at "kcalc"? since many releases the number "2" via keyboard is ignored on my machines (german layout)
Hello Harald.
I just took a look at KCalc and I have the same issue. But I think it doesn't depend on the keyboard layout configuration because I tried it with three diffrent layouts (German, US and Greek).
