I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but I'll assume that you are talking about
the fact that resizing windows on hardware >= 8 series (unified shader
architecture) is slower/choppy than on earlier 6/7 series hardware? In that
case, no, it is not any more accelerated than it was before. It'd be nice if
they could accelerate this some more along with the outstanding issues with AA
fonts. I'll settle for what appears to be the most stable driver for a while,
even if it does not add any acceleration. ;-)
Yes, that's what I meant. It is by far the most obvious, most annoying
long standing bug and the nvidia developers refuse to fix it. They
probably have more important things to do, like OpenGL3 or vdpau. The
whole Linux world is desperately waiting for those things.
