Most likely, yes.
Thanks for confirming my suspicions,

It's unfortunate that this has been known for over a year and still no fix.
I also reassigned several ABRT crash reports to xorg-x11-drv-nouveau (there
are a few different backtraces, it's not just one bug) in Fedora and didn't
even get a reply.
Yes, since posting and more investigating like you said this has been around
quite a time sadly,

Right.
A workaround is to start your kdepim apps with LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 or
QT_XCB_FORCE_SOFTWARE_OPENGL=1 set, e.g.:
LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 kmail
or:
export LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1
kmail
OK, thanks, I did try this with mixed results and locking up of Kmail at
times. So sadly I had to use the nV drivers from RPMfusion for the time being
:-( Which confirms this was the issue, the plus side is I can use qupzilla
again.
I will run more tests with nouveau and your suggestions when I get some free
time again. Sure hope it gets fixed soon so I can return to Nouveau.
