You say
terminal window, but it's not a "window" when it's a full screen. Vtty
means
virtual terminal, or virtual tty (archaic teletype).

My question was not about
whether text is "OK", but whether the framebuffer (vtty) mode producing text
is
1024x768 as you're getting in SDDM, or 1920x1080 as you expect.
$ /usr/bin/fbset
I installed fbset (note that is is in /usr/sbin, not /usr/bin) however
when I type /usr/sbin/fbset from a vtty (Ctrl+Alt+F2), this is what I
get:
open /dev/fb0: no such file or directory
F
