There is more or less work, but there is as well integrity of the stable
branch. Which, I agree, was unlikely to be compromised in this case, but that
may be not the way the developer had chosen to work. And that is his right.

Sorry, but I simply do not understand your position, and your explanation
did not help.
To put it simply, you called me an idiot by WTF-ing at my opinion.
Now let's leave it at that and I'll listen to suggestion that Rex gave
earlier.
