As you know I spend a lot of my working time in Kontact (F14). This is
making my life hell since the update. KMail/KAddressbook (not sure which)
refuses to obey my settings when gpg encryption is required. Akregator
won't let me read messages from the Unread listing - clicking on a message
makes it disappear along with a couple of others - they are there in the
read list, so not lost, but time is lost.
Apart from Kontact I haven't had any problems, though I haven't tried many
other applications since the update.
Actually, there is another problem that is giving me a lot of grief, so I'm
hoping someone knows why and what can be done about it. While editing
UserBase I use klipper a lot. Since the update the pasting is full of
surprises.
For instance, if I copied "editing UserBase" onto klipper, then clicked at the
end of "another problem" to insert it, the paste would not be "editing
UserBase" - it would be "t". It always seems to paste in the letter that
follows the place where I want to insert. The phrase is still on the
clipboard - I have to open klipper, select the phrase, then paste it again.
It's very wierd behaviour, and definitely very recent. Any ideas?
