This ("all") is not true. Many applications are ported. Others are not, but
it does not impact the workflow (Okular is the biggest example of unported
applications).

This is was true but KDEPIM based on Frameworks is coming in few days.
But I don't understand: what is the problem you outline about the missing
integration for KDEPIM, which is quite on its own, apart from look&feel?

Akonadi configuration, desktop search,... extra libraries running in memory
that doesn't need to be there. Expectations that KDE is not just a XWindows
Manager, but the most aesthetically pleaseing, most configurable Desktop
Environment complete with the best suite of briliantly designed and executed
default apps that show off the suite of KDE / QT libraries in a way that no
other environment has ever touched,ever.
