I've got this freezing problem as well, with both nouveau and nvidia drivers. I'm running F23, fully up to date.I am really, really upset with KDE for pushing this into a release (F22) when it clearly isn't ready.

Nope I don't use either of those..
You mention the systray, I use Yumex-dnf now and then and it's systray icon
has never worked in f22, not a problem for me but I'll make sure that it is
disabled and keep an eye on the RAM.
