I see I can get such a card very cheaply on eBay ...
if you go with ebay, be sure you get a warranty.
before committing to an ebay purchase, i would check NewEgg and other
such that may have a good price and not have shipping charge.
also, insure that you can return card in case linux does recognize
you should be able to use 'hplib' drivers. hp has very good linux drivers
and may well have what you need for an 'aged' printer.
