I used to have the "video memory" problem and I could actually read some
of the text in the blocks (usually from Thunderbird).
I no longer have that problem in dual screen, nor do I have the problem
that MEF describes either.

The "Glassified EOS" splash screen handles my dual-head setup just fine,
so it can be done.
