knetworkmanager or plasmoid?

Ah -- sorry, that was knetworkmanager.
I've installed the plasmoid now, which is slightly better (it shows my
wired connection at least), but still does not list the VPN connection
so that I can connect to it (it is only listed under the 'manage
connections' tool).
