OK, I do have one mouse in a drawer :-) I bought it the very same day
this one (a couple of years ago). This one is USB and the other is PS/2.
That's the only difference. I had bought it, because the old motherboard
on my desktop computer had a PS/2 jack. I do have an adaptor, so I could
try it on this computer (I changed the motherboard about 18 months ago),
so there is only USB now.
A bit OT, but I have a drawer full of PS/2 mice.
I tried a cheapo PS/2 to USB adaptor some time ago,
but it didn't seem to work.
I was told at my local electronic store that I needed
a PS/2 to USB _converter_, which costs several times as much as a mouse ...
More seriously, my favourite HP LaserJet 5L with a Centronics connector
has been idle for a couple of years, since the last machine
with a Centronics socket went to the computer graveyard.
I've often wondered if a simple Centronics to USB adaptor could work?
