I use plain imap, and have seen the same. If I use a cabled network
connection all is fine, but on wireless the signal gets lost occasionally
and I have to restart KMail. It's not a freeze - I can close it and
restart - but it stops working. I can't fetch and read any message.
kmail did not stop working - it segfaulted. x86_64 if that matters.
