But the process is still running you just cannot see it. See this

This is probably why Klipper is acting up. I would prefer to use Klipper
as it's much more superior.

Same way to disable any plasma systray applet,
Right click systray (or ^ thing) -> system tray settings -> general
and uncheck the applets you don't want enabled. In this case, uncheck
"Clipboard"
