It may be 'responsive', but does X uses a lot of CPU ? In my case, when not
much else is going on, Dolphin does feel OK, but it causes X to use a lot
of CPU. Therefore, some loads on the system makes its performance suffer.
This is on my desktop, which basically just vanilla install of F12 64-bit
(without 3rd party packages or anything like that). On this machine I
don't even have compositing turned on since it uses the nouveau driver.
It does spike, but since the high CPU usage is less than 1 second it causes me
no problems. This is F12, i686, with compositing on, on a single core 1.6GHz
laptop using the free ATi driver.
