Since you are reposting your message, I am also going to repost my reply.
:-)

+1

Indeed. I also get the feeling that some voters are insisting on Firefox
out of personal preference.

I agree completely.

Right. This is exactly why I requested justification in the meeting, but
the request was shot down.

Given these outputs I vote for Qupzilla because it does not require GTK stuff and it weights less than a half compared to Chromium (I'm thinking to live images).

I completely agree with your assessment.  I certainly hope that the people who voted for Firefox explain their rationale.  If I'm missing something, I would
like to understand it.  I can't fathom, considering the circumstances, how someone could choose Firefox other than it is their personal preference.

I find the last sentence completely incomprehensible.
Why do you use KDE?
Why do you drive your particular make of car?
Surely not because it is someone else's preference?
Except perhaps the wife.

Folks, Rex requested that this this thread be reserved for voting... I opened another thread where we can discuss this.  I'll respond there...

Timothy, you're completely missing my point.  I am referring to the way I perceive that people are voting for a default browser.  I don't believe
it is appropriate to vote based upon your personal likes and dislikes.  Please re-read the above comment, and if you still don't understand what
I was trying to say, I'll do my best to explain it.  You don't have to agree with it - it is just my viewpoint.  BTW, as I stated previously - my browser
preference is Chrome because I'm a heavy user of all things Google - but if I were voting on the default browser for the KDE spin... I would not
choose Chromium.  I don't believe it advances what should be our core principles.
