I haven't been able to get a wireless network connection since the last
Fedora 15 NetworkManager update. As an added bonus, Plasma desktop
crashes when the wireless connection fails.
(OK, I apologize for doing my usual thing -- paying only cursory
attention to the content of the list until *my* setup breaks. I know
there are changes afoot in NetworkManager, et al., but I thought they
were all happening in -testing and -unstable.)
My system:
Fedora 15 (x86_64)
|abacus4>rpm -q NetworkManager
NetworkManager-0.8.9997-4.git20110620.fc15.x86_64
|abacus4>rpm -q kde-plasma-networkmanagement
kde-plasma-networkmanagement-0.9-0.47.20110323.fc15.1.x86_64
I am using the standard kde-redhat repo, no -testing, no -unstable.
What do I have to do to get my wireless network working? For the time
being, I am stuck with switching to Gnome, which is not making me happy.
Thanks,
Jim Amundson
