On another note, I've noticed that kdeplasma-addons doesn't

build dependency on scim-devel, which is one of the backends used by
the kimpanel plasmoid. Is that intentional?
Yes, Kevin knows the details better than I, but it has something to do with
kimpanel not supporting all (including our default) input methods well or
