[Multiple shortcuts for one global shortcut action]
It's actually possible, but the UI doesn't support it. This
just needs to be
fixed. There are other contexts where you want 2 global shortcuts as well,
like multimedia actions (multimedia key and plain key combo). It's also a
regression from KDE 3 which allowed this just fine. There's a bug filed for
that at
bugs.kde.org, but sadly upstream doesn't care. :-(
Can you point me to it? I've searched bko (component: systemsettings)
but couldn't find the bug.
I have tried:
https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=specific&order=relevanc...
I may end up just
patching the Fedora packages to add a "global alternate shortcut" entry to
those dialogs.
Maybe $upstream would be happy to apply that patch.

Because it has to be set in the preferences for the plasmoid.

I'll try to find out what needs to be done to make this happen unless
someone beats me to it.

This probably needs to be added to PowerDevil, similarly to how the
brightness keys are.

Looks like it will be fixed for 4.5
This is something we should look into backporting - even if it results
in one or more untranslated strings.
