I think so, gnome-mount (don't let the name fool you) is one way.
    
        
The Device Notifier should (but doesn't) have an option to do this. I
filed a bug about it some time back:

And better yet: There ought to be a way to restore the old
functionality, so that these things just got mounted when they were
plugged in. It's a pain to have to mount it manually. Why else would I
have plugged it in?!
    

Sure, as long as there's still an option to mount it manually without
