Well, I tried KPackage for a few minutes lately. I found it to be extremely
buggy to the point of being entirely unusable. I strongly recommend not
using it. KPackageKit is the way to go. I think KPackage is likely to go
away upstream soon, or at least move to extragear or even playground. It
doesn't look actively maintained and it's just horribly buggy.
It's a pity, really, as it does offer quick access to a lot of information
about packages. However..... Now I'm left having to decide whether to leave
an embarrassingly bad screenshot on userbase or to remove the application
altogether from userbase.
