Why are you caching imap. Do you need to carry the mail offline? Why not
simply leave it on the server.
You regularly suggest deleting ones kmail folder as a fix to Kmail
related problems. It seems then that Kmail has some serious design
issue is such a drastic action is so regularly needed.
A user should generally not need to concern themselves with ~/.kde
