sorry, but if a Linux system needs a "clean install" there is something
terrible wrong, that said from a machine installed in 2011 with F14 now
on F22 as well as a ton of production machines installed with F9
currently on F21 with online dist-upgrades all over the years

A clean install is only needed if YOU, the user, screwed up your
installation (e.g., by installing some proprietary driver through some
broken vendor script). It should NEVER be needed otherwise.
