I have three SNAP applications installed on my F43 system. All of them
misbehave.
They are Signal Desktop, Chromium, and Vivaldi.
Windows take ten to fifteen seconds to draw or refresh, and show
nothing but colored "snow" in the meantime. Navigation to something
like a plug-in list, or composing a new message, becomes impossible.
In fact sometimes these applications affect the performance of other
applications on my system.
This _never_ happened on F42, even when I installed from SNAP using
the command line. I installed these applications using Discover, after
installing what I thought was the requisite package for Discover to
recognize SNAP as well as it does conventional RPM repositories, or
Flatpak.
None of my Flatpak applications misbehave in this fashion.
What did I do / am I doing wrong with installing and running SNAP applications?
