This looks like a window manager issue of some kind; the anaconda
window is squished into the top-left hand corner, which makes the
needle match fail. However, the same test passed on staging, so it may
be not a new bug but some kind of inconsistent bug (I hate those). I
guess we'll see what it does tomorrow.

This is a goddamn typing failure. I have restarted the test and we will
never, ever speak of this again.

Problem after today's update
by Timothy Murphy
After I updated my Fedora-24/KDE laptop this morning
I found that clicking on icons in the panel
which represent applications I have created
no longer has any effect.
More precisely, I created an application called "helen login"
(many months, if not years, ago)
by right-clicking on Application Launcher=>Edit Applications,
and which simply runs the script "ssh -Y helen-vpn"
with the "Run in Terminal" option clicked.
Then I added the item (with icon) to the panel.
This has been working as I said for many months,
but has ceased to work after todays update
(even after re-booting).
The script itself works as it always did,
when directly entered.
I know there are easy alternative ways to reach the same goal,
but I would be interested to know why this change has occurred.
Incidentally, I also tried clicking on "Add as launcher".
This created a small icon in the panel,
but clicking on that had no effect either.
I saw this message in the journal:
"klauncher[1438]: -miniicon isn't supported anymore (service "helen" )"
which is probably relevant.

PIM 16.08 crashes
by Colin J Thomson
Hi,
The past day or so I have been trying the new PIM release only to find it will
crash all the time, even sometimes on start-up with no interaction from me.
I think it could be the Webkit + Nouveau crash bug which also stopped me using
Qupzilla :-(
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91632
https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-41242
Do any of you guys use Nouveau and this latest 16.08 PIM without crashes?
I see good karma left for for this release on Bodhi which makes me think it is
webkit/nouveau causing the issue and *not* PIM

Minor Update Annoyance
by Ed Greshko
Just did an update to my F24 system. The latest plasma-desktop-5.7.5-1 and
kf5-plasma-5.26.0-1.fc24 stuff.
After the update I rebooted and logged in. I've never used ksensors so imagine my
surprise that when I logged in ksensors was enabled.
How does that happen?

Konqueror: no ark context menus
by Reindl Harald
Hmpf - the latest updates seem to remove all ark-entries from
context-menu (which become less and lesser over time anyways)
not enough that they *never* appeared in folder-views which makes the
workflow hard when you need to open the real filemanager instead just
right click there....
these are still major regressions in usability introduced with Fedora 22
/ KDE5 and now with F24 a year later not fixed and becoming worser

Latest KF + plasma update breaks KDE screen locking
by Gilboa Davara
Hello all,
Just updated two of my workstations and received
kscreenlocker-5.7.4-1.fc24.x86_64 (and assortment of kf and plasma
packages).
On both machines I can no longer see the unlock screen and
subsequently I can no longer unlock the screen.
For now, I'm forced to drop to text console and use loginctl to unlock
the session.
Any ideas what's broken?
BTW, both systems use the latest RPMFusion nVidia driver.
