First, KDE 4.4.80 looks very good, thanks! I'm running this version as part of
Fedora rawhide (F14) - upgraded from a fresh F13 final (no VM). I have two
issues with KMail. KMail is set up for Gmail's IMAP.
1. Switching folders takes rather long (~10 sec).
2. I've imported my Addressbook contents into the Personal Contacts. Contacts
are there. But when I want to select a contact in the mail compose dialog
(via Select...-button) the list is empty. Tried to add the 'old' vCard file to
akonadi sources, but contacts are still not listed.
Did anyone else have experienced this, thanks?
Would it be possible to add the patch from kde bugzilla 208219 for future
versions of the knetworkmanager rpm? I have tried to interest people on IRC a
couple of times to give the patch a look, but no luck so far.
The patch is trivial and has virtually no chance of breaking anything.
I have just installed smb4k-0.10.4-2.fc13 which fails to start, with
"Either your PATH environment variable is not set properly or there are the
following programs missing on your system:
Please correct this and restart Smb4K"
extras(a)lists.alioth.debian.org/msg05076.html implies that this is a bug which
is fixed in a later version -
"fixed in smb4k 0.10.7-1"
Is it possible for us to have this later version to test? Thanks

I am using kde-4.4.3/qt-4.7/f13.
I just noticed something I have never seen before.
In Dolphin, with the Terminal Panel enabled, whenever I change directories by
clicking in the graphical part of Dolphin, the Terminal will show 2 commands,
the first being ^C (control uppercase-C), then on a second line, the cd
This never used to happen, but I am not sure when it began, but it can't be too
many days ago.
